What a way to beat the heat!! Fisher just received a wish to go to Alaska. The 10-year-old is from the Chattanooga area and is diagnosed with Leukemia. Fisher chose Alaska as his wish because he loves mountains, has never been before, and wanted to go dog sledding. Fisher and his family stayed in a cozy unit with a mountain view of Seward. Some activities the family did during their Make-A-Wish experience were a national park glacier cruise, a wilderness dog sled ride, and an outdoor adventure park! Fisher’s favorite part of his trip was the dog sledding. He also chose a trip as his wish because he wanted to do something where his family could participate in part of his Make-A-Wish experience, too. Fisher likes exploring with his brothers so what better way to explore than visit Alaska.
