Wish Kid Noah smiles at Give Kids the World Village

Noah's Wish Trip to Disney World

Noah's Wish to go to Disney World

In October 2024, a dream came true for wish kid Noah, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. Born with a heart condition and multiple birth defects, Noah has spent much of his life navigating doctors’ visits, medical treatments, and challenges most kids his age can’t imagine. But when it came time for his wish to be granted, he didn’t just dream big, he dreamed in galaxies far, far away and in worlds filled with superheroes, magic, and adventure.

Noah wished to go to Walt Disney World, and the entire experience exceeded even his wildest imagination. He was most excited about two things: seeing the Avengers and experiencing the magic of Star Wars.

For a child who had spent so much of his life hearing “no,” this was his moment to hear yes at every turn, and the impact was immediate and powerful. From not having to wait in lines, to having ice cream for breakfast, each turn was full of the joy that each and every child deserves. He was able to ride his favorite attractions multiple times, each time with the same excitement and energy as the first. At Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios, he stepped into the world he had only seen on screen—meeting characters, flying the Millennium Falcon, and feeling like a true part of the Resistance. His eyes lit up as he explored the sights and sounds of Batuu, completely immersed in the adventure.

And just when he thought things couldn’t get more magical, he visited Universal Studios and walked through the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. From spellbinding shops to thrilling rides, every moment felt like stepping into another storybook. Noah soaked it all in, wide-eyed and smiling from ear to ear.

But what made this trip so extraordinary wasn’t just the rides or the characters, it was the way Noah felt every single day. His family watched as he laughed, explored, and fully embraced the fun of just being a kid again, —free from worry and full of wonder. As his parents shared, he had a constant smile on his face. It was incredible to witness.

It was the best time of my life

And for everyone who watched his face light up day after day, it was easy to see why.

The magic didn’t stop there. Thanks to Disney’s PhotoPass, Noah and his family now have a collection of beautiful, joy-filled photos from every corner of the parks. Each one tells a story of courage, celebration, and the kind of happiness that stays in your heart long after the trip ends.

Noah’s wish experience was unforgettable, but his connection to Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina goes far beyond that one magical week. He’s an active and valued member of our Wish Alumni Program, a community of past wish recipients who continue to stay involved, give back, and support one another. Since his wish was granted, Noah has joined in on so many of our events, from art parties to our Valentine’s celebrations and always brings his positivity, warmth, and bright spirit with him.
