Emely's wish to have a quinceañera
Emely, from Orange County, wanted her wish to be a traditional quinceañera celebration. Widely celebrated among Latinos, the quinceañera marks an important milestone in a girl's life. Part birthday party, part rite of passage, it symbolizes a girl's entrance into womanhood when turning 15.
For Emely, the day also was a celebration marking her fight against critical illness. Emely has leukemia and after facing difficult treatments her wish to have a quinceañera was truly a day of celebration!
Rich with culture and symbols, the quinceañera traditions were a focal point of Emely's beautiful day of celebration! In the time leading up, Emely searched for her perfect dress, selected the accessories and hair and make-up styles she wanted and asked her closest friends and family to be on her court.
The venue, The Palladium Event Center in Burlington, provided the most elegant back drop to highlight Emely's special day. From the elaborate throne chair and the detailed backdrop for photos, to the 15-dessert table, numbers, decor and centerpieces it was designed perfectly to meet Emely's theme.

Emely was transported by limo to a nearby outdoor garden for a photo shoot with Jimena B Photography capturing the most stunning photos. After, she arrived at her quinceañera and was celebrated in a special way surrounded by family and friends. Her family honored her with a ceremony and blessing followed by dinner, traditional dancing, cake cutting, and a sparkling grape juice toast.
From her stunning dress to the special moments dancing with her family, her day was truly a wish come true!
