Adopt-A-Wish
The Adopt-A-Wish program offers you or company, school or community group the opportunity to experience the joy of helping others during their time of greatest need by granting a child's wish. This program provides a unique opportunity to make an immediate, direct and substantial impact on the life of a child. The financial investment provided by our donors ensures that we have the funds available to grant the wishes of every eligible child. After making your gift to Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina, we will dedicate a specific wish to you, your organization, group or company. You will receive the child’s wish story and photo to demonstrate how your generosity helped a wish come true. Behind every child’s wish, there are special individuals, corporations, student organizations and foundations that make it possible. Give a child the priceless gift of love, laughter and treasured memories by sponsoring their wish.
Wish Kid Bubacarr's wish was made possible by Cisco

Meet wish kid Bubacarr! Bubacarr is a bubbly 13-year-old who battles a neuromuscular disorder, making everyday life harder for him and his family. When he qualified for a wish, he knew he wanted to experience the magic of Disney! But since his brother lives in California, he wanted to go to Disneyland to see him. How special! Each day as Bubacarr and his family explored the parks, he smiled from ear to ear embracing the excitement of his wish.
When our friends at Cisco heard about Bubacarr's stories, they knew they wanted to adopt his wish! The incredible team there spent countless hours fundraising and ultimately raised $17,000 to send him to Disneyland! Their powerful work not only allowed Bubacarr to experience the hope and joy that a wish brings. but will allow countless other children from the Triangle to the coast to experience it as well. We are incredible grateful to our friends at Cisco, and to every supporter who helps make these wishes come true!
Wishes are like children; each one is unique. This means the cost to fund a wish can vary depending on the nature of the child’s wish and its geographical location.
