Maria has been with our chapter donating her time and talents for nearly a decade! She began volunteering with Make-A-Wish® in 2012 as a Wish Granter, balancing her work schedule and helping to grant at least one local child's wish every month.
After recently retiring from a local credit union, Maria has since taken on a more active Wish Granter role, assisting our Wish Team and staying closely involved in supporting our wish families throughout their wish journeys.
She credits her motivation due to the "amazing mission" that Make-A-Wish holds.
