At the age of 10, Bianca and her family discovered she had cancer. Despite such a devastating diagnosis, her family says she has faced each day with resilience and strength. Her infectious smile continues to make even the darkest days seem a little brighter. Bianca's motivation to stay positive throughout her medical journey was rooted in the excitement of her wish.
When Bianca met with our wish volunteers, Bianca already had a few ideas in her head of what her wish would be. She initially mentioned the idea of having a “Bianca-style” room makeover, or a basketball court in her backyard, but after tapping into her imagination, a little more, it was clear that a puppy would be her most heartfelt wish!
I would love a special friend that is all mine!

She loved the idea of playing fetch with her puppy, and having a furry friend that would bring her unconditional love, especially as she battles her critical illness.
Bianca's wish came true when Rosie, a golden retriever puppy, was delivered – bringing with her hope, strength and boundless joy!
