Community Councils

We rely heavily on the generosity of members of the communities we serve to help make wishes come true.

The Make-A-Wish Metro New York Real Estate Council is comprised of New York City Real Estate industry executives and leaders who support and promote the Make-A-Wish mission. Its members, who represent many top companies in the industry, help fund wishes through both traditional fundraising activities and by lending in-kind services, resources and expertise to grant design and construction related wishes.

Make-A-Wish Metro New York’s Women’s Council is comprised of wish granters, wish moms and professional women who are dedicated to helping Make-A-Wish Metro New York achieve its mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. 

Women’s Council members utilize their talents and leadership skills to raise awareness of and support for Make-A-Wish. Their contribution of time, resources and funds makes an immediate and substantial impact on the lives of children and their families. There are many ways to accomplish that goal: Promoting Make-A-Wish to our networks and communities, providing specific volunteer assistance with granting wishes, organizing and attending annual fundraising events and providing individual financial support.
