10TH ANNIVERSARY OF ESPN's "My Wish" Series features four unique wishes

This summer, ESPN® SportsCenter will give you an insider’s view of Make-A-Wish® kids who meet their favorite athletes. You’ll see once-in-a-lifetime moments. Genuine connections. And impact that changes lives.

The series will once again be hosted by Emmy Award-winning reporter, Chris Connelly.

On June 12, SportsCenter gave viewers a first glimpse at this summer’s series when it aired the inspiring wish of Ashley, who wished to meet Steph Curry with her brother. Then, from July 18 – 21, viewers can tune in for a re-airing of Ashley’s wish and see three other unique sports wishes granted for William, Kaylan and Mackenzie (a new wish will premier every day).

In addition, SportsCenter will air a "My Wish: Compilation" on Friday, July 22, with highlights from many of the wishes granted during the past 10 years. Each story may also be viewed at following its original air date.

Make-A-Wish extends its thanks to Disney and ESPN for their support of this year’s “My Wish” series, and for their help in creating these incredible wish experiences and sharing them with the world. Beyond assisting with this year’s series, Disney – which owns ESPN – has been a steadfast friend of Make-A-Wish for more than 35 years and has helped the organization grant more than 100,000 Disney-related wishes, including the first official wish in 1980.
