Wishmakers on Campus

Wishmakers on Campus empowers the collegiate community in California or Nevada to help fund life-changing wishes for local children fighting critical illnesses.

By planning fundraisers, hosting events and raising donations for Make-A-Wish Northeastern & Central California and Northern Nevada, you can be a beacon of light for children in your community during their darkest days.

The program invites you and your on-campus organization to help grant life-changing wishes and bring hope and joy to local children when they need it most.

There are plenty of ways you can get involved and fundraise, but to kickstart the creative juices, here are some ideas that can help you raise vital funds on campus:

Project Ideas

 Dance the Night Away

Host a dance and charge an entrance fee. Think of fun themes for the dance, or even make it a dance marathon and keep it fun with hourly themes!

Bachelor/ette Auction

Ask each dorm, fraternity, sorority, sports team or student organization for a volunteer to be auctioned off to the highest bidder and set up “dinner for two”

Tourney Time

Post flyers around campus and coordinate a fun tournament! Cornhole, volleyball, kickball, dodgeball, etc… Charge admission fees for each team and sell official T-shirts.

Stttttrike

Ask a local bowling alley to donate a few lanes and host a Bowl-A-Thon. Secure a sponsor who’ll donate 5-cents per pin. For everyone who bowls at least a score of 100 could earn $5!

Help a Survivor

During midterms or finals, sell “survivor kits” full of munchies to keep up students’ energy during late-night study sessions.
