Taylor's Playhouse with Flowerboxes

Taylor’s wish granters got every detail just right. She enjoyed a cozy tea party by the fireplace.

“Today, Taylor is a Make-A-Wish ambassador. She tells others how her wish experience helped her get better.”

Taylor remembers everything about her triumph over Wilm’s tumor. But she never dwells on the chemotherapy and kidney surgery.

Instead, Taylor thinks of her Make-A-Wish® experience. The day volunteers unveiled her playhouse helped put her spirits over the top as her treatments were in the final stretch. That’s when she knew … she was going to win.

Taylor’s first stroll through the playhouse transported her from all her medical obstacles. She reveled in the attention – the TV news crew that filmed her every smile, the ecstatic friends, the kind-hearted neighbors. Taylor found that her volunteer wish granters heard everything she said … and created a playhouse with every detail that mattered: a chandelier, rugs, beanbags, even a fireplace.

Taylor’s mom remembers the sense of well-being that overcame her entire family.

Today, Taylor is a Make-A-Wish ambassador. She tells people in her community how her Make-A-Wish experience helped her get better. Her words encourage everyone to join Make-A-Wish in helping kids like her renew their courage and become stronger than ever.

  • In her new pink hardhat, Taylor helped crews build the playhouse of her dreams.

  • Taylor’s wish granters got every detail just right. She enjoyed a cozy tea party by the fireplace.

It gave us a sense that everything was going to be OK.”

You are a bright and beautiful little girl Taylor, and it's a blessing to hear about another happy child living in this world. Keep that beautiful smile on your face, and don't forget to pour me some tea too! God bless you.

I was always interested in helping kids, but something has always held me back - until i read Taylor's story. At my high school they have a make a wish club, I read Taylor's story there and O joined the club because I want to help kids.

Taylor, you are so beautiful and such an inspiration to so many people! My daughter who is 4, Sahara, has Wilm's Tumor also and is on her 6th chemotherapy treatment. You give me such great hope that she will be just fine. She was just told that she can make a wish! What a true Blessing this is to our Sahara! Sending you lots of hugs and kisses, Angela and Sahara!

These children are so creative and know what to ask for. This was a great request and a lasting one. This is one of my favorite wishes and i just think this is too cute! I would've loved to have a house like this when I was a little girl. I know she's enjoying that house! Mortgage Free! Lol.
