Noella’s wish soon comes true. Make-A-Wish volunteers introduce her to Hippo.
It’s been two years since Noella’s wish came true. Her labradoodle, Hippo, is her best friend. She’s a big sister. More important than anything, she’s healthy. And she’s convinced that Hippo made her feel better.
“I wanted someone to laugh and play with,” Noella says.
Noella’s dad sees the impact of her wish every day.
“The medicine she received treated her condition, but the wish she received lifted her spirits,” he says. “It has been a joy watching how excited and happy she is playing with Hippo.”
