Wish Wednesday- Wishes That Serve The Community

Perfect white lines connect one base to another, people with wheelchairs and strollers watch the games up close and cheer, and baseball hiss through the air. The baseball park is one of the most treasured sites for one Albuquerque community. From all the games that have been played, and the swarm of people who have stood in the stands – watching in suspense, squinting at the box score – as the batter runs up to take a swing. There is one all-star spirit, though, who has left his cleat marks at homeplate.
