There’s nothing like a real, first-hand story about a Make-A-Wish experience. Each one connects us to what wishes do for the kids we serve – and for their families and communities.

Some of our favorite blog posts are from wish kids, volunteers and other supporters. And we want to hear more from you. So if you’re a wish kid, a parent, a sibling, a volunteer, a doctor, a pediatric social worker … consider yourself invited. We need you to show the impact of wishes.

katie, volunteer, giving back, connecticutHere are just a few blog posts to show what others like you have had to say:

Alexandra wrote a two-part series about how her wish to go to Antarctica changed her worldview.

And Katie recently shared her story about her journey from wish kid to wish granter.

Guest blogger and volunteer Sarah also shared her insights about helping grant an incredible wish through national sponsor GameStop.

Shawna took us back more than 20 years to her wish – she’s proof that Make-A-Wish isn’t just a “last wish” organization for terminally ill kids: It’s a chance for kids to take their lives back and redefine their future.

Wishes can also help kids choose their career path. Hannah will tell you all about. And so can Amanda, who is now a professional photographer.

We hope these blog posts inspire you to get creative. And remember, you don’t have to be a wish kid to contribute. If you’re a parent who has thoughts to share, we’d like to hear from you – and that also goes for medical professionals, relatives and others who have referred wish kids.

Feel free to contact us at jvfuangvba@jvfu.bet if you’re interested in being a guest writer!
