Fauria answers Fallon’s Challenge, Nets $10,000 for Make-A-Wish Michigan

Two weeks ago on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy and Justin Timberlake showed us their best end zone moves.

And then Jimmy issued a challenge – if any NFL player performed one of their “end zone dances” during a game, he’d pay the fine and match it with a donation to the charity of the player’s choice.

This Sunday, Detroit Lions’ tight end Joseph Fauria’s rendition of  ‘N Sync’s “Bye Bye Bye” (http://youtu.be/1fU1aDUZRzs) during the Lions/Redskins game caught Jimmy’s eye. After the game, Fauria tweeted at the duo:

Yesterday, in response, Jimmy Fallon tweeted:

He then announced that he would donate $10,000 to the charity of Fauria’s choice – Make-A-Wish.

Thanks for supporting this organization. My granddaughter was the recipient of a wish last year. She has an autoimmune disease. Diagnosed at 11, she has been through so much, but stayed well throughout her trip to LONDON! What a gift. Healing for the spirit.
