Shark Week devotees … well, you’ve got another year to wait.

But one of my favorites is back this weekend – “My Wish” on ESPN’s SportsCenter.

The summer series, returning for its eighth year, features stories about the sports-related wishes of five kids with life-threatening medical conditions. This year’s “My Wish” will feature NFL quarterbacks Robert Griffin III (Washington Redskins) and Russell Wilson (Seattle Seahawks), tennis champion Roger Federer, NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

One of this year’s stories is that of 17-year-old tennis player Beatriz. Beatriz, who battles Hodgkin lymphoma, wished to meet Roger Federer at Wimbledon. After her wish was granted, she tweeted photos and a narrative of her amazing experience, which were shared by Mashable and BuzzFeed.

Tune in to “My Wish”, beginning on Saturday, Aug. 17, during the 11 p.m. ET edition of SportsCenter. We will be tweeting links to the videos the day after airing; follow us at @MakeAWish. Want to join the conversation? Use the hashtag #MyWish.

The tentative schedule is below:

Sunday, Aug. 18 – 11 p.m. ET – Kyle, Arizona Diamondbacks
