Madison Firefighters Hockey Club will host its fifth annual Mad City Fire on Ice hockey tournament at the Madison Ice Arena April 22-24, 2016 to benefit Make-A-Wish® Wisconsin and to sponsor the wish of 12-year-old Matt of Evansville who is living with Ewing's sarcoma. Admission is free and open to the public, and all ages are welcome.
Spectators will experience competitive hockey games, raffles and silent auctions for valuable prizes, like Badgers football and hockey tickets, Kalahari Resort get-away, a deluxe gas grill, grocery shopping sprees and much more. There will also be fire trucks and equipment on display, a DJ, the Great Dane beer garden, real Fire House BBQ, other delicious food and beverages and more. In addition, local wish kids like Matt and their families will make a special appearance at the opening ceremony on Friday evening.
