With the help of volunteers throughout the state, Make-A-Wish Illinois will make over 700 wishes come true for Illinois children suffering from a life-threatening medical condition this year! Wish granters work with children to help determine their most heartfelt wish, and then work with the staff to help make these wishes come true.

Time commitment varies, but is approximately 10 hours per month based on granting three wishes per year. This includes traveling to wish family homes, wish planning and implementation. Wish granters must have strong communication skills, and be able to respond to wish families and staff within 48 hours. If you or someone that you know is interested in becoming a wish granting volunteer, contact Tonisha Daniel  at 312.602.9413.

RSVP is required to each training at least five business days prior to training date. Seating is limited.  Please note we are especially in need of bilingual volunteers!
