South Dakota Stock Dog Association Benefit

Stock Dog Come watch the South Dakota Stock Dog Association Finals during the State Fair in Huron and help make wishes come true for area kids! Events will take place in the Hippodrome and there is no admission fee but
free-will donations will be accepted for Make-A-Wish®. They will also be auctioning off a trained stock dog, custom jackets and other items to benefit

At 5:30 p.m., you are also welcome to participate in the Mutton Bust Remix! Teams of three kids will attempt to get the sheep through the same obstacles the dogs use. Registration is required and the cost is $25 per team. Visit for registration information.

The South Dakota Stock Dog Finals will follow at at 6:00 p.m.  The stock dog trials is a competitive dog sport in which herding dog breeds move sheep or cattle around a field, fences, gates, or enclosures as directed by their handlers.
