Stock Dog Come watch the South Dakota Stock Dog Association Finals during the State Fair in Huron and help make wishes come true for area kids! Events will take place in the Hippodrome and there is no admission fee but
free-will donations will be accepted for
Make-A-Wish®. They will also be auctioning off a trained stock dog and other items to benefit
Make-A-Wish South Dakota!

At 5:00 p.m., the auction will begin that includes the trained stock dog as well as other items! After the auction at approximately 6:00 p.m. the Stock Dog Finals and mutton bust remix will take place. Teams of three kids will attempt to get the sheep through the same obstacles the dogs use. Registration is required and the cost is $25 per team. Visit for registration information.

The stock dog trials is a competitive dog sport in which herding dog breeds move sheep or cattle around a field, fences, gates, or enclosures as directed by their handlers.
