Help grant heartfelt wishes this Giving Hearts Day.

During the summer months you can look out on the lake and find plenty of fishing boats, but Grant and his dad don’t use their boat solely for fishing. Instead he’s working on a new passion: wakeboarding. Before he took to wakeboarding, Grant showed his athletic ability through basketball. It was after one of his games that Grant expressed feeling ill. Shortly after, he was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma. Grant has gone through surgery and weeks of treatment and now this spring he gets to leave those memories behind to make new, happier ones. Grant’s wish to meet wakeboarding pro Dean Smith is coming true! His wish granter Kevin knows this is Grant’s most heartfelt wish because, “when he started talking about wakeboarding he was all smiles.”

On Giving Hearts Day, a 24-hour online fundraising event, you can help grant heartfelt wishes for children like Grant. Contributions of $10 or more will be matched by a Make-A-Wish® supporter up to $5,000. To support Make-A-Wish and have your donation matched, simply go to impactgiveback.org on February 13 and click on the Giving Hearts Day “Donate” button.
