Janelle, an eight-year-old from Orange County, lights up every room she walks into with her energetic and playful personality. Janelle was diagnosed with lymphoma but hasn’t allowed it to take away from her shining like a star. There’s nothing Janelle enjoys more than being at home spending time with her family. When she’s outside, she looks forward to playing with her brothers while imagining they are pirates with big swords! At the end of the night, she enjoys being able to wind down and have a nice cup of ice cream with her family as they watch a movie together. With the help of her family’s strength and support, Janelle has been able to continue a strong fight for them.

When thinking about a wish, Janelle knew exactly what was right for her. She wished for a room re-do! This is her wish because this is something Janelle has dreamt about for a long time, even her family knows how much this means to her. When thinking about her wish, she couldn’t help but think about the new colors she was going to paint, the décor she was going to pick out, and how pretty it was going to look once it was completed. Once her room re-do was finally finished, Janelle received a surprise reveal. As soon as she opened her eyes, her smile grew from ear to ear. She looked around the room in awe and her eyes were glowing with excitement. Janelle was eager to show her family the results of the room re-do and they couldn’t help but smile after seeing how enthusiastic she was. She looks forward to all of the playdates and activities she’ll get to host with her brothers and friends. Thanks to Janelle’s supporters, the princess is now content in her brand-new castle.
