Make-A-Wish Foundation® of America Welcomes
Two Members to National Board

PHOENIX – The Make-A-Wish Foundation of America has appointed Liz Ann Sonders and Craig Alan Coffey to its board of directors. Sonders, a market and investment specialist and frequent television and radio guest expert, is senior vice president and chief investment strategist for Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., New York City. Coffey is vice president of marketing and customer marketing operations, North America, for Nokia, Inc.

As members of the Foundation’s national board, they will contribute to policy-making and strategic planning for the world’s largest wish-granting organization.

“I am delighted to welcome Liz Ann and Craig to the national board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation,” said board Chairman Carl E. Hansson. “We are extremely fortunate to have secured the services of such experienced and talented individuals on our board, and I look forward to the insight and expertise that they will bring to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.”

Sonders joined Schwab in November 2002. As senior vice president and chief investment strategist, she leads Schwab’s Investment Strategy Council. Previously, she was managing director of the Charles Schwab affiliate, U.S. Trust. She has been a favorite financial expert and occasional guest host on top business and news programs and is a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s,The New York Times and other top news publications. She received her bachelor of arts degree in economics and political science from the University of Delaware and her master’s degree in business administration from Fordham University. Sonders and her family live in Darien, Conn.

Coffey joined Nokia in April 2006. From 1996-2006, he held senior marketing and operational positions with various divisions of PepsiCo, Inc. Craig also has six years of agency-side experience across a variety of consumer packaged-goods segments, and he began his marketing career at Kraft Foods. He is a member of the Association of National Advertisers Board of Directors. He received bachelor’s degrees in marketing and philosophy from Boston College and attended Harvard Business School, graduating from its Executive General Management program. Coffey and his family live in Southlake, Texas.
