"Fish" :60 (Travis' Wish) Transcript

There’s a 14 year old boy from West Texas. Name is Travis. Travis had a wish. To catch a fish.

Now…since Travis is from Texas, it had to be a big fish. Maybe a marlin. A blue marlin…that’s the biggest kind.

So the Make-A-Wish Foundation reached out to one of its thousands of volunteers, Guy Terwilliger, captain of the Ho’hokele fishing boat in Kona, Hawaii. That’s on the big island.

At 7:00 AM on a fine spring day, Captain Guy piloted Travis and his family out to 200 fathoms.

Where Travis hooked, fought and landed a 547 pound blue marlin. He caught his wish.

It was one of the largest catches that season.
