Cold Stone Creamery^® , the nation’s fastest growing ice cream concept, became a sponsor of the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® in 2001 when looking for a way to involve its franchisees in a unified community campaign in celebration of National Ice Cream Month. Since that time, Cold Stone Creamery^® , along with its franchise community, has hosted the annual World’s Largest Ice Cream Social at all Creamery locations to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The event is the culmination of a full month of fundraising efforts, and is celebrated with an energetic, fun-filled event atmosphere. Each year a wish child is selected to serve as Junior Tastemaster, assisting Cold Stone Creamery^® with the development of a delicious Make-A-Wish^® Creation, which is served free to guests during the event in exchange for donations to the Foundation. The annual campaign encourages communities to join together and share the simple pleasures of life with free Make-A-Wish Creations, family activities and good-spirited fun.
