Q: Why did you choose this wish?

A: I chose this wish because I like the military, and I want to be an Army Ranger

Evan's favorite part of his wish was repelling over this 30ft. wall!

Q: What was one of your favorite memories from the wish?

A: Rapelling off the 30-foot wall during ranger training.

Q: What's your medical diagnosis now?

A: I have frequent check-ups, and yearly surgeries, but my heart is very healthy!

Q: What are some of the highlights of your life now?

A: I am in the sixth grade at Linfield Christian School. I play the trumpet in the jazz band and the French horn in the concert band. I also love to ski!

Q: What did your wish mean to you?

A: My wish made me respect the Army even more. It enabled me to do the activities I had dreamed of doing, and it was fun to share the experience with my brother!

Today, Evan is in 6th grade and plays the trumpet and french horn.

Q: What do you want to tell people about the Make-A-Wish Foundation?

A: They are very giving and generous. They help kids have their wishes for their lives come true!

  • I want to say this is a moving story. I pray his other dreams come true. I have respect for the army to , I have a son who fought in Iraq. So God Bless You.
