Five New Wish Stories Feature Wish Kids Meeting Their Favorite Pro Athletes

Ian and Marion Barber

Tune in to experience the joy of five seriously ill kids who live out their sporting wishes on the critically acclaimed “My Wish” series, starting Sunday on ESPN SportsCenter.

The series, presented by ESPN, is sponsored by The Walt Disney Company. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® , ESPN and Disney are collaborating for the fourth consecutive year to bring the heart-warming “My Wish” features to SportsCenter viewers. Emmy Award-winning reporter Chris Connelly introduces viewers to each wish kid and family through moving interviews, followed by an inside look at each wish, including the kids enjoying exclusive sports experiences with their favorite athletes.

This year’s wish-granting pros are: MLB All-Stars Jimmy Rollins (Philadelphia Phillies) and David Wright (New York Mets); NFL Pro Bowl running back Marion Barber (Dallas Cowboys); NBA All-Star Chris Paul (New Orleans Hornets); and skateboarding icon Tony Hawk.
