Celebrating Disney

Many things can go out of style in 30 years. Trends rise and fall – and sometimes even return. For Disney, though, supporting Make-A-Wish is always in fashion.

Our friends at Disney have stood by us from the very beginning, from the very first official Make-A-Wish experience in 1981.

We celebrate all that Disney has done – and continues to do – to transform the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Make-A-Wish grants more than 14,000 wishes each year. Nearly 7,000 of them involve Disney’s help.

You’ll find out how Disney has strengthened wish kids and their families with genuine compassion … helped them allow imagination to overcome despair … made it possible for them to stand defiant. From unique experiences at Disney theme parks and resorts to meeting their favorite movie stars, wish kids have found lasting impact through Disney and its ongoing efforts to share the power of a wish®.

In addition to making Disney theme park, cruise, entertainment, sports and shopping wishes come true, Disney provides annual cash grants and encourages Disney VoluntEARS to contribute their time and talents to further our mission.

Walt Disney World® Resort

Still the most-requested Disney experience. For generations, wish kids, like Sophia, have celebrated life and bonded with their families at this iconic theme park. It's a trip to renew their belief that anything is possible.

Disneyland® Resort

Our first official wish kid visited Disneyland® Resort. And today, wish kids of all ages, continue to find joy and renewal in its rides, attractions, characters and cast members. Their Disneyland® wish trip takes wish kids, like Cole, to a world away from the fears of their life-threatening medical conditions.

Disney Cruise Line®

Wish kids who love all things Disney and the idea of sailing the high seas turn to Disney Cruise Line for their wishes. They find activities perfect for their interests, from ports of call to events onboard. And, like Oliver, they find a renewed sense of hope and energy to overcome their conditions.

Disney Talent

From sports to recording artists to animation studios, Disney welcomes wish kids to see the work that powers creativity. Wish kids have met animators, visited movie and TV sets, spent time with their sports heroes and much more.

Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa

Disney immerses wish kids in the Hawaii experience at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa. At the all-inclusive resort on the island of Oahu, they enjoy the customs and traditions of Hawaii while experiencing all the Disney magic and creativity. Trips to Aulani rejuvenate wish kids like Audrey.
