John K. Round

Biography:

John serves as the partner in charge of the tax, estate planning and employee benefits practice at Strasburger & Price, LLP of Dallas, Texas. He has more than 24 years of experience advising clients on all phases of estate planning probate and trust law. John’s practice involves advising clients on all phases of estate planning and the preparation of wills and trusts, and he has also worked extensively with private foundations, tax exempt entities, gift planning, marital property agreements, and estate and business planning for closely-held businesses including Family Limited Partnerships. John was appointed to the board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas in 1997, and has also served as the chapter’s board chair. John’s involvement at the national level began in 2003 as a member of the organization’s Strategic Planning Task Force. He was elected to the National Board in September and is currently a member of the national Chapter Performance committee. John and his family reside in Dallas, Texas.
