Alana’s wish to record her music became a reality when Mikkel Eriksen, from the producing and songwriting team known as Stargate, invited the 15-year-old to their studio in Los Angeles.
Valentine in the Morning, from 104.3 MyFM, interviewed Alana and gave her song “Dashiki Woman” its worldwide premiere. Valentine and his team posted a podcast about Alana and her wish experience on the iHeartMedia website (“Dashiki Woman” begins at 6:12 into the podcast).

When Grace was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 2, the gift of a stuffed puppy helped her through her treatments and hospital stay. The 5-year-old’s love for dogs continues to this day so her parents were not surprised their daughter wished to have a puppy when Make-A-Wish volunteers visited their home. Grace was presented with Lucy at her wish reveal and their bond was instantaneous.

During treatments for a brain tumor, Hannah wished to have her own personal place to escape. A group of volunteers are keeping her spirits up, building the playhouse of Hannah's imagination. Local professionals and workers have spent the last three weeks putting finishing touches on the 12-year-old's dream.

Robert was enlisted into the U.S. Navy. After taking his oath of duty, the new recruit joined several units at U.S. Naval Base Guam (NBG). Robert observed a variety of demonstrations, took a ride on a U.S. Coast Guard Sector boat and rode an NBG firetruck with emergency personnel. Robert’s day concluded with the End of Tour award for a job well done.

When Make-A-Wish Oregon asked Hazen what he would wish for, the generous boy wanted to deliver TVs, tablets, gaming systems and an assortment of new games for other kids at Randall Children’s Hospital.
